What You Must Know About Melanoma

I read a disturbing feed this morning that Melanoma was increasing in young women mainly due to the extra exposure to the sun and also tanning beds. In our quest to look great, we are setting ourselves up as a potential victim for one of the most dangerous forms of skin cancer. Yes, we are wearing more SPF than ever before, but we are also using this to our advantage and staying longer out in the sun.
According to the American Cancer Society, around 1 in 50 people will be diagnosed with Melanoma within their lifetime. This disease can affect young and old people alike so it’s important to continuously check yourself up by self examination as well as by a dermatologist especially if you have fair skin and are prone to many moles and freckles on your body.
The most comprehensive and straight to the point resource I found was Melanoma.com for anyone interested to get more informed on this deadly disease.

Your concern is great, but nothing will stop these young girls from staying out in our scorching heat for hours on end… its such a shame that beauty overpowers health.
