I’ve always wanted to improve my keyboard skills (navigating without using my mouse) because those people who are really good at it seem to breeze through their work, especially when its a redundant task that requires shortcuts. Microsoft has a really practical page on Keyboard Shortcuts for Windows for anyone who is interested.  Even if you only pick up a few shortcuts, it can be helpful.  I’ve listed a few of the easiest combinations below:

CTRL+C: Copy
CTRL+X: Cut
CTRL+V: Paste
CTRL+Z: Undo
CTRL+B: Bold
CTRL+U: Underline
CTRL+I: Italic
