On a scale of 1 to 10, how happy are you?  My happiness factor can range from a 7 to a 9 depending on the my environment or other factors such as work, family and friends.  I found an interesting article on ” The Science of Happiness” published by the BBC.

It’s interesting to see that a global study being conducted on the “Subjective Well being of the World“.  According to Science Daily, “A University of Leicester psychologist has produced the first ever ‘world map of happiness'” by taking the results of over 100 different studies and over 80,000 participants.

  1. then i gotta go to denmark n ask wats makin em so happy

  2. I saw this on an episode of 20/20.

Denmark are happy because…..oooops i forgot hehehe
ok…ill do it in points and remember

    1. its a very safe country, so safe that mothers leave their children sleeping in their prams outside shops…..imagine !

    2. they spend a LOT on education

    3. in addition to education, hobbies are a big part of lifestyle in denmark….they all have at least 1 hobby….and they r usually group hobbies rather than individual activities…oh and this goes for children to senior citizens

    4. something about taxes being high….and it all goes for social security o madri shino ( i didnt pay attention at this point)
    ……
basically….the more u make the more taxes u pay, so having a big or an average pay check makes no difference cuz in the end everyone makes the same amount of money…….which encourages what do u think?

ppl choosing their professions based on what they like and not on how much money they will make in the future.

so u have ppl with very good education going into basic things like carpentry and things like that, ppl going into vetenary school rather than medical school….cuz the money factor is just out of the picture.

i think i remember they had an interview with the most well paid locksmith or carpenter in the world.

o well thats all i remember…sorry for the blabber

  3. One of the least happy countries was Italy. Cuz the ppl there have a very bad temper…according to the show.
