Why Women’s Purses Keep Getting Bigger :)

According to traditions, it’s taboo for a guy to go through a girl’s purse without permission.  But I believe the only reason for that is because they will be shocked at the state of chaos they find when they go in there, plus I almost guarantee they won’t find what they are looking for.  As I was going through my bag today to find my keys, I realized that my bag has literally become my home away from home.  In that sense, the bigger the bag, the more we can carry from home.  I don’t know about the rest of you ladies but my bag at present consists of the following items:

• My Phone
• My Wallet
• My Makeup bag:  lipgloss, eyeliner, concealer, mirror, cuticle balm, foundation, lip balm, mascara and eyeshadow
• Moisturizer
• Gum
• Keys
• A bunch of papers… Workout sched, old tickets, Gym card
• A map (I have no idea where that came from)
• A wad of ATM receipts
• Hairbands & Clips
• Coins & business cards of I don’t know who
• Panadol & Aspirin Vitamin C
• A notepad and pen

And this is on a “Travel Light” day.  Extra additions can be food, mini sweater, perfume, tons of medication when I am sick, Hanx’s wallet, phone and smokes.

I know this may sound a bit over the top.  But I tell ya… It’s a great feeling to know that everything you need is in that bag.  For an idea of what around 235 women have in their purses right now, click here.
